Laminating / Celloglazing

Laminating or celloglazing of printed material serves to protect and significantly enhance the impact of the printed image.

Lorimier utilizes the latest and highest quality thermal laminating equipment and film to achieve the best possible finished result. The thermal laminating process consists of a sheet of film that has a thin layer of glue previously applied which in turn is adhered to the printed sheet using the correct combination of heat, pressure and running speed.

The laminating film may be applied to one or both sides of the sheet.

Laminating finishes available from Lorimier include:

• Gloss – a high gloss, reflective finish
• Matt – an elegant matt satin finish
• Matt anti-scuff – for the prevention of scuffing of the film over time
• Soft Touch – a soft velvet like touch
